Thanks to our neighbor Robert for sharing this event! Join the City of El Paso and students from Herrera Elementary for the Butterfly Garden ribbon cutting this Friday at 9 AM! Location: 340 Coates Drive.
Today, they will release beautiful butterflies! The students will also learn how to plant trees.
The City of El Paso is teaming up with many great groups to plant trees for Arbor Day. About 150 students will help plant new trees and learn about nature!
There will be guest speakers, fun presentations about trees and pollination, and awesome posters made by the students!
Why are butterfly gardens important? They help butterflies and other pollinators thrive, even in cities! They are special places that support many butterfly species.
Let’s make our community greener together! Hope to see you there !
