The City of El Paso will be celebrating National Bike Month with a free Bike Safety event on Saturday, May 18, 2024 starting at 9 am in front of San Jacinto Plaza. This downtown event will be free for children, parents, and the community.
The Bike Safety Event (Safety Town) kicks off at 9 am with a bike safety class for children, which will teach children the safety and laws of biking.
Adults can come and join in on the fun starting at 9:30 am with a Downtown Mural Bike Ride hosted by Visit El Paso. There will be 20 free bikes that the public can utilize for the bike ride. The public may also bring their own bike, and participate in the event.
The event also includes a Yoga class hosted by Live Active El Paso, which will begin at 10 am in San Jacinto Plaza.
Podium Finish, El Paso’s premiere bicycle shop will be present at the event, and will be providing bike repair stations, a gear giveaway and much more.
This event is part of the City of El Paso's commitment to enhancing the quality of life for residents, businesses, and visitors.
