Community Meeting Scheduled to Discuss New Park in Horizon View Estates
EL PASO, TX – El Paso County is excited to invite the community to a pivotal meeting regarding the development of a new park in Horizon View Estates. The meeting is set for this Wednesday, February 7th, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the fire station located at 14151 Nunda Ave. This assembly is a crucial part of the planning process, offering residents the opportunity to contribute their ideas and help name the future park.
Following a successful $1.5 million matching grant award from the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department for the park's planning and construction, the County is eager to ensure that this project reflects the community's vision and needs. In 2022, initial meetings were held with community members to solicit their ideas and preferences for the park's features, and this upcoming meeting serves as a vital follow-up to discuss those ideas.
The February 7th meeting is a chance for residents to give their input on the new park, as well as to vote on the park's name. Residents of Horizon View Estates and the surrounding areas are strongly encouraged to attend this meeting.
