El Paso County Public Work is inviting the community to a free community clean up this weekend. The clean-up will take place from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, May 4 at 14698 Van Lane and people can take the following trash:
- Tires
- Only 5 tires from each resident
- Maximum collection of 1,500 tires for the event
- Accepted tires must be 17 inches or smaller
- Tires from retailers, semi-trucks, equipment-trucks, or those with rims will not be accepted
- Bulk Trash and Electronic Waste
- 1 pick-up truck load of trash including furniture, chairs, carpet, etc.
- Accepted electronics include computers, tablets, scanners, video games, cameras, radios, cellphones, VCRs and DVD players
- CRT monitors and televisions will not be accepted
Residents are encouraged to sort through their bulk of trash before arrival, according to the County.
