Our semi-annual Mutt-A-Thon with Rescue Runners is back and bigger than ever, happening THIS Sunday at BOTH El Paso Animal Services shelter locations, and we need your help to walk/run ALL THE DOGS! Sign up now at RescueRunners.org. There are 5 time slots to sign up for:
•8am @ Tails at the Times, 501 E. Mills
•9am @ Tails at the Times, 501 E. Mills
•12pm @ Main Shelter, 5001 Fred Wilson
•1pm @ Main Shelter, 5001 Fred Wilson
•2pm @ Main Shelter, 5001 Fred Wilson
***Full length pants & secure, closed-toe footwear required. NO SHORTS or slip on shoes allowed.***
Refreshments will be provided for all volunteers. Runners & Walkers of all speeds may participate. Underage participants are welcome to come along with mom or dad, but they cannot be responsible for the leash.
If you don't want to walk a dog, that's ok too! We'll be having a Mutt-A-Thon Pawty from 12-3pm at 5001 Fred Wilson with music, vendors, delicious treats AND you get to meet adoptable pups as they walk along the mutt mile!
Why is this event such a big deal? Not only do the shelter dogs get to spend some quality time with people (which they all urgently need) but it’s also a great way to see their amazing personalities outside of their kennels! Adoptions are FREE too so there’s never been a better time to meet your new furever friend
