The news is buzzing about POP! Goes the Fort!

If you haven't heard or seen all the information buzzing around Fort Bliss … then let's get you updated on all POP info!

This annual event is held each year with live entertainment, food trucks, inflatables and of course a spectacular fireworks display sponsored by USAA!
•

This year's entertainment is performed by the Arsenal Drum Corp., 1st Armored Division Band and the El Paso Symphony Orchestra!

Patrons are able to bring their own canopies to stay cool, but will be set up in a designated area, so that it doesn't disrupt the view for others. When the area is filled up canopies will no longer be allowed into the park.

Coolers, picnic blankets, chairs are welcome! But, remember pets, alcohol and/or glass are NOT permitted at the park.

DON'T FORGET if you have Family visiting from out of town who want to participate in the 4th of July celebration at Fort Bliss and need a pass to get on post— Go get your Recreational Pass!! But this isn’t just for Military Families, it’s for all families to enjoy! Don’t wait, get them as soon as you can!

CHILDREN!!! Listen up!!
If you’re 10 and younger, you need a wrist bracelet to enter Biggs Park.
What’s a wrist bracelet for?
Well, it’s for the safety of a child who may become lost at the Pop Goes the Fort event.
Biggs Park is HUGE area and can easily be overwhelming for young kids who can’t remember where they left their parents. So, the bracelet will help them find their lost parent.

Where do you get the bracelets?
Special Events will be handing out wrist bracelets:
Wednesday, June 29 from 11AM – 1PM // Friday, July 1 from 5 – 7PM // both times at Freedom Crossing
Wrist Bracelet can also be picked up at Biggs Park during regular business hours.
Bracelets will be handed out day of the event as well.

Get your GLOW toys early! They will be sold at Pop Goes the Fort until 8PM! Prices ranging from $1 to $10, cash only! There will be ATMs on-site.
