Many of us have aged quite a bit since we first saw THE NEVERENDING STORY, the classic tale of a young boy who gets swept up in an enchanted fantasy novel. Day jobs, mouths to feed, bills to pay… when you’re an adult, it’s hard to make room for magic in your life.
But if we learned one thing from THE NEVERENDING STORY, it’s the importance of keeping magic, wonder, and imagination alive in our hearts and minds, regardless of age.
So take the journey back into Fantasia and re-live the story of Atreyu and his quest to save the realm from an evil force called The Nothing, all told through the eyes of Bastian, a bullied young boy reading along with the story who may be more integral to it than he realizes.
For over a decade, Alamo Drafthouse has offered Kids Camp screenings during summer and winter breaks, providing families in our communities with a fun and affordable way to experience their favorite movies on the big screen.
All Kids Camp tickets are $5 for everyone – little kids, big kids, and grownup kids – and each week brings a new selection, ranging from recent animated favorites to timeless classics.
Most Kids Camp screenings are ages 3 and up, but some locations are All Ages – please check drafthouse.com for local policies. Kids deserve the same great experience as everyone else, so please don't talk/text or you may be asked to leave.
