Description:
The Make-A-Wish Foundation is hosting their 6th annual “Walk for Wishes” fundraiser on Sunday, April 28, 2024. This event aims to raise funds to grant the wishes of children with critical illnesses. The community is invited to join the race and support this worthy cause.
To participate in the event, interested individuals need to register online before the registration deadline, which is Saturday, April 27, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. Registration can be done by visiting the 2024 Walk for Wishes online registration page.
Participants are required to pick up their event packets, which may include race bibs, T-shirts, and other relevant materials, at Up and Running. Packet pick-up will take place on Friday, April 26, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and on Saturday, April 27, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
On the day of the event, participants should arrive between 7:45 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. at the Shoppes at Solana, where the starting line will be located under the Star Western Wear sign, facing Sunland Park Drive. The race will commence promptly at 8:30 a.m.
