Do you have a superhero within you, waiting to come to life and make a difference in the world? Well, now is your chance! We are thrilled to announce the Wonderful Women Family Fun Run & Walk scholarship fundraiser, a 1 mile fun run/walk that will bring out the hero in everyone!
The Young Women's Preparatory Network (YWPN) is dedicated to empowering young women through education and providing them with the tools and resources they need to succeed in life. Our family-friendly run/walk scholarship fundraiser is an exciting opportunity for you to be a superhero for local girls and make a positive impact in your community.
Join us on April 1st for a day of fun and inspiration! Dress up as your favorite superhero and walk or run the 1 mile route to support educational programs and scholarships for young women leaders. Participants can dress up as their favorite superhero and walk or run for a great cause. We are encouraging participants of all ages and abilities to transform into a superhero and help us raise funds for a great cause. This celebration of heroes will be a family fun day with activities and games for kids of all ages. It's a chance for families to come together and make a difference while having a blast. The event will also feature a wellness fair, booths, games, concessions, and prizes.
Participate in our wellness fair is free. Race tickets include a t-shirt and cost $15 for students and $20 for adults. Virtual participation is also available for runners and walkers who would like to participate on their own and receive a t-shirt. All proceeds support scholarships and college preparation programs. Booth, sponsorship and volunteer opportunities are available.
