As a monopoly, it’s crucial for the city council to ensure fair practices and protections for all residents. 
The company is committed to providing reliable service and is working with the city to address these concerns. 
The council will also explore additional protections for vulnerable residents, like extended notice periods and alternatives to disconnections.
