El Paso recently conducted a traffic crackdown that resulted in nearly 100 citations!During a focused operation from October 16-18, law enforcement issued:
– 63 citations for cellphone use while driving 
– 30 citations for “move over or slow down” violations 
In Texas, using a phone in school zones is illegal, with fines up to $200. Remember, the “move over or slow down” law requires drivers to change lanes or slow down when approaching emergency vehicles. Violations can lead to fines up to $1,250!
