Environmental Service Swag

Hey did you know you can get a Black Belt in recycling? πŸ₯‹

The Environmental Service Department of El Paso has some neat free programs that you should take advantage of, they give you free swag and free mulch for the gardeners out there…

We started with a yellow belt then so on and it comes with awesome swag each time! When we first got the yellow belt, we got some branded cups, a cute trash pencil holder, a mouse pad, and a magnet to stick on our recycling can. We took a virtual class to learn about what we can and can’t recycle since each city we’ve lived in has different requirements. ♻️

Then I went to the Citizens Collection Center where they have a store you can shop for free AND get free mulch! This is awesome since mulching protects your garden from huge temperature swings in the summer and winter. πŸ‘¨β€πŸŒΎ

After I went to the event for National Recycling day and donated an item (my old crockpot) they had me come by after and receive a gift for attending! The event was open to the public and had a lot of information. This time we got a cooler with cups, a blanket and other awesome stuff.🎁

If you want to also do the program here is more info:
