2022 Scherr Legate Celebration of Lights and the WinterFest

Over 50,000 spectators attend the annual Winterfest Celebration of Lights Parade in downtown El
Paso that coupled with the Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony is the largest single event in downtown
El Paso.

The Scherr Legate WinterFest Lights Parade returns to downtown El Paso onĀ Saturday, November 19, which marks the start of the WinterFest season, with the parade starting at 5:30 p.m.

The festivities feature the only light parade in the City along with entertainment by local performers
and shopping opportunities local vendors.

Holiday Downtown Art & Farmers Market

The Downtown Art and Farmers Market will be moving from its normal time and place to bring you the Holiday Market during the opening of Winterfest! Join us Saturday, November 20th from 12pm to 8pm at the Convention Center Plaza for an evening full of cheer. Find the perfect one-of-a kind gift from over 60 vendors. Visit our Food truck garden for a warm meal before the lighting of the tree celebration and parade. Bring your lawn chairs to enjoy various local entertainers. Bring the entire family to catch what downtown has to offer.
You wont want to miss all the holiday fun! Plus catch the Celebration of Lights Parade, the El Paso Streetcar and Opening of El Paso Live's WinterFest, all with in walking distance!
