Pumpkin and Canned Food Drop Off

Do you have the drive to carve out hunger in your community?

Join Dirt y Girls Compost and Alpha Contractors for our first ever annual canned food drive.

Instead of filling up your garbage bins with you Halloween pumpkins, we’ll gladly take them and put them to compost.

In return we’re asking for donations in the form of canned or dried goods.

All proceeds to benefit local food pantries.

Dirt y Girls Compost

A FREE community composting program for residents who live south of Alameda, and in between Midway and Zaragoza. We pick up your kitchen scraps on Saturday mornings, free of charge and distribute the cured compost back to you.
