Exciting news for El Paso and Socorro! Our communities will receive over $2 million in federal grants from the U.S. Department of Transportation’s RAISE program. 
Here’s how the funding will be used:
– Socorro will get $1.7 million for planning and designing safety improvements along Moon Road. 
– El Paso will receive $750,000 for a feasibility study to expand Sun Metro’s Bus Rapid Transit service on the Montana Brio Corridor, focusing on efficiency and safety. 
These investments will greatly enhance our local transportation and safety, helping to rebuild infrastructure nationwide!
