Attorneys are asking people in Sunland Park, New Mexico, to join a lawsuit against CRRUA, the water utility. They say that the water has too much arsenic, which can make people sick.
At a meeting, attorney Brian Colon said, “We want to make sure you have clean water!” Many people are worried about their health and have stopped using the water.
The attorneys assured residents that they could join the lawsuit at no cost. If they win, the lawyers will only take a third of any money earned.
