I’ve always said that El Paso has some of the best programs, and many of them are free! This year, my goal is to get my kids off their devices and into the great outdoors.
Growing up in the city, I admit I’m a bit scared of critters, but we kicked things off with the free Insights Hueco Tanks trip, which was AMAZING!
Now, we’re diving into the Junior Master Naturalist program designed for kids aged 9 to 13. For just $15 per kid, they get to explore the incredible museums and outdoor spaces around El Paso.
There’s something fun happening every Saturday, and I think it’s a fantastic opportunity! My husband has been sending me photos and videos from the Museum of Archeology this morning since I was too tired to hike after last night’s KBBQ.
They’re loving it—learning about historical artifacts, pottery, and even throwing spears! Who knew that was a thing? And yes, they do have to sign a release form. LOL!
