Junior Naturalist event at TecH2O!

I’m feeling so grateful to my husband this morning. He took the kids to the Junior Naturalist event at TecH2O while I was still recovering from last night’s NEEP COLLECTIVES anniversary celebration. And we’re celebrating our 11th wedding anniversary tonight! 🥂💕
TecH2O is this really cool little learning center all about water conservation in El Paso. We’ve been there a bunch of times before – the kids love exploring the interactive exhibits that show how water is used, recycled, and even desalinated around here. 💧
This time, the kids got to go behind the scenes and see the desalination process in action. They were blown away – they even got to taste the fresh, purified water straight from the system. Apparently, it’s really good! 🤩
I’m so happy the kids got this awesome opportunity through the Junior Master Naturalist program. They got to learn all about things like archaeology, food webs, native plants, and more. It’s an awesome way for them to get outside, get hands-on, and explore our local environment. 🌱🐞
The great thing about TecH2O is that it’s a hands-on learning experience for all ages. Whether you’re a kid or an adult, there’s something fascinating to discover about the local water cycle, aquifer systems, and sustainable water management practices. It’s a really eye-opening place to visit AND free and open to the public! 👀
