What’s better than good food, good drinks, and great conversations?
Yesterday, I convinced my friend Yoshi to host a Korean barbecue at his stunningly decorated home!
Some of my friends had never experienced Korean barbecue before, so we showed them how to do it right with quality meats at Economy Wholesale Grocers. Now everyone can do hot pot and Korean BBQ at home!
I feel so blessed to have met so many wonderful people in El Paso! The community here is incredibly strong, and the relationships we build are authentic and down-to-earth. I truly believe that the energy you put out is the energy you receive back.
I’ve been lucky to have amazing mentors and friends who are dedicated to uplifting our community. El Paso has a unique opportunity for growth, and we can all contribute to the beautiful tapestry of diverse cultures and backgrounds.
In just one room, we had so many different backgrounds! From Korean and Mexican to Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese, Puerto Rican, Lebanese, and a bunch of mixed kids—this is El Paso. This is multicultural harmony. This is a food destination! And it’s all love!
We also shared insights about the wonderful folks at the meat cutting room, emphasizing the importance of diverse cuisines in our community.
It was an amazing night full of laughter, great conversations, and a TON of delicious meat! At the end, we packed up leftovers for everyone to share with their friends and neighbors—showing off our El Paso culinary scene!
After four years in El Paso, I’m grateful for the world-class cuisine and the beautiful friendships I’ve made. I might just need to get a shirt made to celebrate it all!
