Carlos and Mickey's, what can I say that hasn't already been said? It's an institution in El Paso and now I understand why.
I recently visited the restaurant my brother in law's birthday and it reminded me of all the things I love about dining out: delicious food, friendly service, and a vibrant atmosphere.
From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile and a sense of hospitality that immediately made me feel at home.
The menu at this restaurant was full of flavorful Mexican dishes that were both traditional and inventive. Hubby decided to try the fajitas, and I was blown away by the sizzling platter of steak, peppers, and onions that arrived at my table. The meat was perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the accompaniments of guacamole, sour cream, and pico de gallo added just the right touch of freshness and tanginess.
My meal was the combo plate of chile rellenos, enchiladas and crispy tacos. It was delicious and flavorful, with the cheese oozing out of the enchilada and chili rellenos, which is exactly how I like it.
The restaurant itself was also a delight. The decor was colorful and festive, with Mariachis and decor that celebrated Mexican culture. The servers were all knowledgeable about the menu and were happy to make recommendations and answer any questions we had.
Overall, I had a great time. The food was delicious, the service was exceptional, and the atmosphere was lively and fun. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great Mexican meal in a welcoming and festive environment.
