For Black History Month, I wanted to shine a light on one of my favorite black-owned businesses here in El Paso. Meet Raymond Canto of Ray’s Steaks.
He’s been here for 14 months and I’ve fallen in love with his quality Philly cheesesteaks. He’s a Philly native, Marine Veteran, Philadelphia Culinary Arts graduate, and now proud El Pasoan.
His dream was to own his own business and he saw an opportunity here in Sun City, where the people are warm and welcoming and opportunities are hotter.
We’re lucky to have him here and even luckier to taste his 100% ribeye Philly cheesesteaks. If you don’t know, then you gotta go try it out.
