Check your voting status ahead of the important elections this November!
The new El Paso County Election Department’s “My Voter Dashboard” is a streamlined, user-friendly interface that provides a personalized interactive tool.
The dashboard includes your voter registration status, eligibility for the current election, elected officials by precinct, voting history since 2016, and sample ballots.
The website also uses Google Locator to help you find your nearest early voting locations and election day vote centers.
Since 2021, Texas has removed over 1.1 million people from the voter rolls, including:
– Over 6,500 noncitizens
– Over 6,000 voters with felony convictions
– Over 457,000 deceased people
– Over 463,000 voters on the suspense list
– Over 134,000 voters who had moved
– Over 65,000 voters who failed to respond to a notice
– Over 19,000 voters who requested to cancel their registration
Of the 6,500 potential noncitizens removed, around 1,930 had a voter history. The Secretary of State’s office is investigating these cases for potential legal action.
To further crackdown on illegal voting, Governor Abbott signed a law last year increasing the penalty for voting by noncitizens to a second-degree felony.
