Time to check up on your voter registration…

🗳️ Check your voting status ahead of the important elections this November! 💫
The new El Paso County Election Department’s “My Voter Dashboard” is a streamlined, user-friendly interface that provides a personalized interactive tool. 📊
The dashboard includes your voter registration status, eligibility for the current election, elected officials by precinct, voting history since 2016, and sample ballots. 🗳️
The website also uses Google Locator to help you find your nearest early voting locations and election day vote centers. 🗺️
Since 2021, Texas has removed over 1.1 million people from the voter rolls, including:
– Over 6,500 noncitizens
– Over 6,000 voters with felony convictions
– Over 457,000 deceased people
– Over 463,000 voters on the suspense list
– Over 134,000 voters who had moved
– Over 65,000 voters who failed to respond to a notice
– Over 19,000 voters who requested to cancel their registration
Of the 6,500 potential noncitizens removed, around 1,930 had a voter history. The Secretary of State’s office is investigating these cases for potential legal action. 🔍
To further crackdown on illegal voting, Governor Abbott signed a law last year increasing the penalty for voting by noncitizens to a second-degree felony. 🚨
