Tips on Bark, Book, Bait Event at Ascarate Lake

Can’t believe it’s time for the Barks, Books, and Bait event at Ascarate Lake this weekend again! 🐕‍🦺📚🎣⛵

We went last year and had a blast. It’s early and a little chilly, so I recommend:

🎣Bundling up in layers and taking it off as it warms up.

🎣They’ll rent FREE fishing rods and give you free BAIT.

🎣Bring chairs, music, snacks and drinks.

🎣They’ll weigh any fish caught and a little kid caught a HUGE one last year.

The kids LOVED it and we look forward to it now. 🙌
