Celebrate Independence Day with A Bang in El Paso! Events Happening Around Town

Hello El Pasoans! It's that time of the year again when we celebrate our freedom and honor the spirit of America. To add more sparkle to your Independence Day, we have a line-up of exciting events happening in our city from the 1st through the 4th of July. Get ready for an all-out extravaganza of fun, food, parades, and of course, spectacular fireworks!

Kick off the festivities on July 1st with the annual Independence Day Xtravaganza at Cougar Park, Socorro. The City of Socorro invites you to enjoy an evening full of live music, food trucks, giveaways, games, and the city's biggest fireworks spectacular. The event starts at 5 PM and is free of cost. Just remember – no outside food or drinks allowed, but don't worry, the food trucks have you covered!

On July 2nd, grab your picnic blankets and head over to the Painted Dunes Desert Golf Course for the Red White And Brew event. The fun starts at 5 PM and goes on till 9:30 PM. Admission is free for kids under five, so bring the whole family along for a fun-filled evening.

July 4th is going to be a day filled with parades. Rise and shine early for the 25th Annual Independence Day Parade starting at 9 AM at the Western Hills Methodist Church. This year's theme is “United We Stand,” and it promises to be West El Paso’s biggest parade of the year. The parade is sponsored by the Rotary Club of West El Paso, and entry is free for churches, youth groups, non-profit organizations, military and veteran groups. Businesses can join the parade with an entry fee of $40.

But the parade fun doesn't stop there! The El Paso De Norte Lions Club is hosting the Lions 4th Of July Parade, starting at 9 AM at Hanks High School. The parade route runs from Montwood High School along Montwood Drive to Yarbrough Avenue, with the endpoint at Album Park on Album Avenue. This is a parade by the people, for the people, so come out and cheer on your fellow El Pasoans!

Finally, round off your 4th of July celebration with a splash at the Wet and Wild Independence Day Celebration at the Wet N Wild Water Park. The celebration goes on from 10 AM to 9:30 PM, providing plenty of time for some wet and wild fun.

But wait, there's more!
