NEW! Handmade Holiday Market just in time for Christmas!
Growing with Sara Farm is a family owned and run farm dating back to the late 1800’s documented as the oldest family-run and cultivated farm in Texas. The onsite farm stand, Bodega Loya and the new coffee shop, Cafecito, opened in March 2021. This winter, Growing with Sara will host their first holiday market, Handmade Holiday.
Handmade Holiday is the only holiday market in El Paso’s Lower Valley, Soccoro, Texas.
December, 18, 2021 from 1:00 pm – 6:00 pm
An after-market concert is also being presented featuring the Camarata Del Sol String Quartet.

Growing with Sara is named for Mary and Ralph’s daughter who passed away shortly after birth. The history of their farm lives through her with every crop cultivated and relationship sown. This holiday market is an extension of the passion and dedication Growing with Sara has for the Lower Valley and small business. Handmade Holiday Market, encourages the creation of art, crafts, and food items by local artisans and provides an outlet for them to share their creations. It also provides the community an opportunity to support their local small businesses and artisans while staying local and shopping small. Handmade Holiday Market is providing a place for local artisans to share their talent and products with the community. Vendors range from handmade ornaments to preservatives to handmade clothing. Cafecito and Bodega Loya Farm Stand will also be open during that time to provide delicious drinks and fresh produce.

Bodega Loya boasts several varieties of fresh produce, eggs, butter, and fresh herbs, as well as artisan cheeses, smudge sticks and more! They accept cash, all major credit/debit cards and the SNAP card.
