So Bee’s Pastry Cafe was closed today so I went next door to try out another place called La Fogata Del Circos. They have a $5 huevos rancheros special that was good, but the stand out is the chicharron side.
It’s fantastically flavored and I’m getting a burrito for a friend just to have her try it out. It’s moist, tender, with a kick of spice. This is real authentic Mexican cooking that I remember my friends moms and abuelas making in their kitchens.
It’s family owned, complete with a kid playing on a game pad in a side table. Completely unpretentious and serving the local workers and the community with inexpensive, filling, and delicious food. They also have a drive thru, and if you dine in like I did, the drinks have 1 free refill. Come out and #supportlocal
